In addition to the Schlosser Tower on Taubertorplatz and the Faulturm in Neue Straße, you will also discover the Lindlein Tower in Lindleinstrasse.
This tower was also part of the town fortifications for a long time. In 1795, a small residential building was added on top. By today's standards, it is almost unimaginable how large families could live here in the confines of the tower. The Lindlein Tower houses a unique mini-museum, which was set up at the request of the last inhabitant. Margarete Böttiger lived in the tower from 1897 to 1995, during which time she was a single woman for over 60 years. Since 1999, visitors have been able to marvel at the interior of the Lindlein Tower with its original furnishings and everyday objects from the past century on a guided tour. It is open at weekends from Easter to All Saints' Day (1st November),

From here, you can also walk past the tower on the left via Mühlweg. This small path leads alongside the Herrgottsbach stream to the Kohlesmühle mill with the Fingerhut Museum and the Herrgottskirche church with its remarkable Riemenschneider altar,
